My client is a leading supplier of process instrumentation and engineering consumables. Based in Pontypridd, they have been operating across the UK since 1972. Talent Team is delighted to be working with an SME based in Pontypridd to find a calibration engineer to support their team. 

The Role

The position sits within the service department and will be working alongside senior engineers within the engineering department.

The role will involve a range of responsibilities from on-site calibrations to process instrumentation within a range of industries such as power, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage manufacturing etc. 

Although the role is mostly calibration-based, occasional light mechanical duties or troubleshooting assistance may be needed.

The site has an internal calibration workshop where electrical, temperature, pressure, and humidity calibrations take place.  

The role will involve travel to client's sites. This may include overnight stays. 

What we will need from you?

Experience with calibration techniques and methods

Knowledge of test equipment

Knowledge of ISO9001 requirements

Experience in flow, pressure, temperature, analytical, and general measurement & control techniques

Any additional safety/confined space qualifications desirable
